The Commandments to lead us to a personal relationship with God - Exodus 20:1-11

Updated: Nov 13, 2022

If you asked me 3 years ago, how deep was my relationship with God, I'd tell you the ugly truth, that I didn't have one, that I had strayed away from his ways so none of these first 4 commandments was I following.

My home was filled with everything that would've brought dishonor to God, from many false gods such as Egyptian Gods, Laughing Buddha and Greek Gods thinking it was just home décor. On top of the statues, I was putting faith in items such as crystals, dream catchers, evil eye jewelry, horoscope and tarrot card readings believing that they had powers to control certain aspects of my life. I didn't even have a Bible in my home as I had given up on Jesus in 2015, so I was living my life based on what felt good and made me happy. I was obsessed with the idea of "love" going from relationship to relationship on this quest to fill a void not realizing all I needed to do was seek Jesus! I experienced FREEDOM on Nov 27/20; Jesus broke the many dark bondages, strongholds and addictions I was a slave to. I experience his Love and found peace knowing I was forgiven for all my past sins. No false gods, jewelry, crystals, relationship, fortune teller or any amount of money could've done what Jesus did for me! Want to hear my testimony, contact me and l'd love to

share it with you. I ended up destroying, burning and throwing out all those items in the garbage, I wanted to make sure it would not be salvageable for anyone to find and use after. It's so important to keep my walk with God by putting Jesus 1st and remember the good He's done for me, my family and most importantly for what He will do for you, should you seek Him wholeheartedly.

Psalm 34:4-5

I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.

Joshua 24:15 "But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD".

~ My Prayer for you ~

Heavenly Father, Thank You, that we who put our trust in Jesus as our Saviour have redemption through Jesus our Lord and the forgiveness of all our sins, so glorious and merciful you are.

In this idolatrous world where it's easy to seek and turn to false gods, idols and items, foolishly believing they can do miracles that really only you can do! I ask you Lord to please remove the spiritual blinders off of each one so they can see with their real eyes, to realize, the real lies that the devil has worked so hard to keep them apart and away from Your love for your word in John 14:6 says, Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life."

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
